New feature . . .

Ever have a situation where you've quoted a price to a customer that you want to hold until some future date even though the price for that product may have changed for everyone else?

There's now a feature that let's you do this. The "Hold This Price" and the "Hold Price Until" date are entered by individual customer tank. Then, when you enter a delivery invoice for that tank, this price automatically appears. This assumes you haven't reached the "Hold Price Until" date yet . . . once you do reach that date, the price will revert to normal pricing.

For help on this, go to the Help System and (under the Index tab) key in the word "Hold".

A Couple Of Things To Be Aware Of . . .

Adding new workstations to your network: If you are adding additional computers, please call us to help you configure Lynx on the new machine(s). We will work with you (or your technical people) to insure that the software is configured properly and that any network considerations are properly dealt with.

Mixing Operating Systems: If you're running different versions of Windows on the various computers in your network (like XP, 2000, 95, etc), please call us. There are potential issues involving the location of shared data in such a mixed environment that we can help you sort out.
